In short, practically the same as the original game, but with higher quality graphics.
You just need to change the motherboard, the processor, to increase the RAM and to have a video card with at least 4 GB, in order to play the game.

In the same business spirit, maybe the following item will be "Stronghold Definitive Edition HD" ?
(hate to play devil's advocate) Artists are expensive, so is game art. This is no simple upscale, but a full redraw.
The only issue is whether they botched the core gameplay along the way. Also, if they improved the size of maps, fixed or ignored any bugs, and so on...
