Half-Life: Opposing Force is an expansion pack for Valve Software's science fiction first-person shooter video game Half-Life. The game was developed by Gearbox Software and published by Sierra Entertainment on November 1, 1999. Opposing Force is the first expansion for Half-Life and was first announced in April 1999. Randy Pitchford, the lead designer on the game, later noted that he believed Gearbox was selected to develop Opposing Force because Valve wanted to concentrate on their future projects. Over the course of development, Gearbox brought in a variety of outside talent from other areas of the video games industry to help bolster various aspects of design. Opposing Force returns to the same setting as Half-Life, but instead portrays the events from the perspective of a U.S. Marine, one of the enemy characters in the original game. The player character, Adrian Shephard.

Hola gente, espero que estén bien, estoy aquí para compartir el estado de desarrollo del proyecto en el que estoy trabajando el cual actualmente tiene el nombre de (ENV_ci), todo este mes estuve trabajando en los modelos, iluminación, mapas y optimización del proyecto de modo que ande a la mayor cantidad de fps posible pero sin eliminar la calidad y detalles de los mapas, cabe destacar que en el desarrollo de este proyecto solo estoy trabajando yo, osea, solo una persona, por lo que el transcurso de desarrollo va a ser largo, también pienso agregar cosas nuevas como más mejoras en la iluminación, mejores efectos visuales, y mejores mecánicas, pero agregar todo eso me tomará tiempo.

Bueno eso es todo por hoy, como dije anteriormente solo yo estoy trabajando en este mod, y lo pruebo junto con dos amigos, por lo que el transcurso de desarrollo de este será largo, pero haré todo lo posible para que quede bonito de tal manera que valga la pena la espera, en fin, gracias a tí por ver este artículo, buenos días, tardes o noches, dependiendo de la hora en la que lo ves, y hasta pronto.

I've gotten tired of not being able to reliably find games for old Gold Source (GoldSrc, HL1, Half Life 1) mods or Source (Half Life 2, HL2) mods, so I made a discord about just that. I am also trying to make this place an informational hub. I'm trying to centralize and unite the multiplayer mod communities for all of the various multiplayer mods out there.
